Are you ready to comply with the new updates to LL84?

While you may be ahead of the game in submitting your annual energy and water consumption data for NYC’s LL84 before the extended May 31st deadline, are you you ready to comply with the new updates to the law?

This past month, the NYC Mayor’s Office of Sustainability announced new enforcement rules regarding LL84 data submission. In order to better manage the quality of LL84 benchmarking data, the City’s Department of Buildings is requiring that a total of nine ENERGY STAR Portfolio Manager fields, including Site EUI, Metered Areas, and Water Use, be filled out accurately and completely. Any missing or inaccurate data fields will be considered non-compliant, marking a shift in emphasis from compliance to data quality.

This means that property owners and managers will need to pay more attention to their portfolio’s filings this year. At WegoWise, we’re focused on benchmarking data for accuracy. WegoWise provides New York City building owners with effortless LL84 compliance by interfacing with Portfolio Manager and completing all aspects of the reporting process.
