First things first, there are still a few more weeks of summer, so let’s not give in to fall just yet!

Public service announcements aside, the summer of 2015, like so many summers before it, has positively flown by. Here at WegoWise, the summer season means more outdoor lunches, bike rides to work, and, of course, our annual company retreat.

With many of our employees working remotely around the country and across the globe, our annual gathering is a chance for us to spend time together face-to-face, and not just on video chats. It’s really fun for us, because our teammates are interesting, excited, and generally a joy to be around. We thought we’d share some of our experiences from retreat, so that you can see what our company culture is all about!

This year we visited Penobscot Bay in Maine to spend three days enjoying gorgeous views, tasty food, and fine company. We had a big cookout, hiked the famous Camden Hills, and enjoyed a healthy dose of beach time. But it wasn’t all R&R, as you can see below from our oceanfront teambuilding activities. I’m not saying that the Maine beach is the only good place to wireframe user experience workflows, brainstorm new features, and plan out software updates, but it’s a strong contender!

Summer has been an exciting time at WegoWise, and we’ve returned from the woods with renewed excitement about making the best utility management tools out there. There are some exciting new features coming down the development pipeline for you, and we can’t wait to share them!
